Play hard, drink smart
Wrecked is a game about your friends, not about how much anyone drinks. Here is how we'd like it to be played.
The house rules
- A drink is a sip. Nobody needs to finish a glass because a card said "drink 3".
- Anything counts. Soft drinks, water, a mocktail. The game works exactly the same.
- Passing is always allowed. Any card can be skipped. Nobody owes anyone an explanation.
- Water between rounds. Keep a glass on the table next to the phone.
- Eat first. Drinking games move fast; an empty stomach makes that worse.
Pick the right mode
Relaxed mode is built for lighter nights: the cards are about conversation, the penalties are mostly sips, and the app itself tells the table that halving the drinks is fine.
Look out for each other
- Nobody drives after playing. Sort out a ride before the first card.
- If someone is pregnant, on medication, or just not drinking tonight, they can still play every card with a soft drink.
- If someone has had enough, end the game. The verdicts are just as funny after round ten as after round forty.
- Know the signs of alcohol poisoning (confusion, vomiting, slow or irregular breathing, cold or bluish skin) and call emergency services if you see them.
Age
Wrecked is for adults of legal drinking age in their country. It is rated 18+.
